produced by Oracle Theatre, Inc. for UTC#61's THE GARDEN PARTY written by Vaclav Havel This absurdist drama portrays a young chess fanatic propelled into the business world by his conservative father and neurotic mother, only to be immersed into a live challenge of corporate checkmate. Published in 1963, this was Havel's first full-length play. It is characteristic of the humanist literary movement that was on the rise in Prague. The Festival honors the man, Vaclav Havel, on his 70th birthday. He has led a full life: as a playwright, the
former Czech Republic President, a literary leader, and a social/political activist. His name and writings,
banned by Communists in the 1970s, have become significant studies of the Czech oppression. MISTAKE written by Vaclav Havel

This opening short puppet play features prison mates in a "Punch & Judy" like conflict. Four prisoners
muddle their way through the daily ritual for a newcomer in the cellblock.

(AEA Stage Management Member) As a BFA graduate from Hofstra University in Theatre Production and an MFA graduate from SUNY Purchase Design Technology, she has been involved in varied aspects of theatre. Credits include: T.Schreiber Studio's How I Learned To Drive (Lighting Designer, 2006 NYIT Awards Nominee "Outstanding Lighting Design"); Salvatore Larussa Dance Theatre (Lighting Designer); Oracle Theatre's WOLF: Japanese Folk Tales...;Home & The Death of Tintagiles (Director); Urban Stages (Tech. Advisor); NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (Art Dept.); WB's Bedford Diaries (Art Dept.); and Naava Piatka's Better Don't Talk, a.k.a., My Mother's Voice (P.M./Lighting Designer). She's also been in White Plains HS, Roundabout Theatre Co.'s Teaching Artist residencies, and now the Trevor Day School, mentoring students in disciplines of theatre arts/design.These are just a few credits. is a New York-based playwright. His work has been presented in multiple venues in Manhattan, including the KRAINE THEATRE and CENTER STAGE NY, as well as the BROOKLYN LYCEUM and the SOUTH OXFORD SPACE. His work has also been performed at FringeNYC 2006 ("Breakfast For Dinner"); THEATRE THREE in Port Jefferson, NY; SUNY BROCKPORT in Brockport, NY; NORTH WESTERVILLE HIGH SCHOOL, Ohio; and THE LAST FRONTIER THEATRE CONFERENCE in Valdez, Alaska. He is a founding member of Oracle Theatre Inc., and serves as their resident playwright. His recent stage-adaptations of Japanese folktales continue to be presented as part of Oracle Theatre, Inc.'s WOLF Family Series at the QUEENS MUSEUM OF ART; BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSELLERS; CAPA FESTIVAL 2006 in Union Sq. Park; Libraries/Parks in Long Island; and CENTRAL PARK.

is a longtime Long Island theatre actor and resident. He has been seen in musical theatre productions at Broadhollow, the Cultural Arts Playhouse, the Stage, and Hofstra University. Trained in speech therapy and the arts, he has completed both an undergraduate and a graduate degree from Hofstra University and is currently employed as a speech therapist. He continues to perform both on Long Island and in NYC.

She also served as Company Manager for two summers at New York Stage and Film at Vassar College, as well as working four seasons as the lobby/backstage venue manager at Olympus Fashion Week at Bryant Park.

He is currently shooting an online television series called "Daddy Busterz" for Channel 102. Joe also directed a production of "Richard III" for last summer's Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot. James has assistant directed for Keen Company ( Pullman Car Hiawatha and the Happy Journey to Camden and Trenton) and has worked three summers with the Maine Summer Dramatic Institute in Portland Maine.

Daryl Brown has appeared in numerous stage productions in New York in the last several years. He was last seen at the Theatre for the New City in 'Follies of Grandeur' and at the Wings Theatre in 'The Deluxe Illustrated Body'. Before that, he appeared in 'Sweet Love Adieu' at the Bank Street Theatre and in an award winning production of 'Masquerade' at the Cherry Lane Theatre. He has also performed in the historical recreation of 'Titanic Voices' and in several independent films. Much thanks to his friends and Daniele for their generous support.

is an emerging electronic musician, fusing funk grooves with acoustic folk instrumentation over a lush scape of digital noise; a style he calls funkfoltronica. Brett is a trained classical flutist, a self-taught guitarist and pianist, and a lover of a gritty synth sweep and persuasive drum sequence. His album Just Be has received radio air play at WMUA 91.1 Amherst and has been used in dance classes and performances at JACOB'S PILLOW DANCE FESTIVAL in MA, as well as DANCESPACE and WAX in NYC. Brett's music has been described as "the union of wonder and majesty. One is carried along its harmonies, calmed and yet encouraged. The songs from Just Be resonate within, long after they have been turned off and wandered away from." Brett's "Threshold of a Dream," from Just Be, was a runner-up in the electronic category of the 2002 John Lennon Songwriting Contest.
